Transport Minister Ciprian Șerban announced that the general and financial directors of CFR Infrastructure and CFR Călători will reduce their allowances by 10%. In addition, CFR Infrastructure will reduce working hours to 4 days a week for a limited number of employees, estimating savings of around 57 million lei annually. Obsolete rolling stock will be scrapped, generating additional revenue. CFR Călători will implement cost-cutting measures, estimating total savings of over 130 million lei by the end of the year.
