At the July 2025 admission session, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences in Bucharest had an impressive increase in the number of applicants, with 47% more candidates in the Journalism specialization and 36% more in Communication and Public Relations. In total, 360 candidates enrolled for Journalism, 351 for CRP and 315 for Advertising. These results come in the context of a decrease in the number of students taking the Baccalaureate, reinforcing FJSC's position as a leader in the field of communication sciences. The Dean of the faculty, Romina Surugiu, emphasized the importance of these increases and the students' performances in international competitions.
