The General Council of Bucharest Municipality has approved the reconfiguration of the intersection between Colentina Road, Fundeni Road, Andronache Road, and Gherghitei Street, one of the busiest in the capital. The project, which will last 12 months, aims to redesign traffic flows and create new traffic lanes, considering that the idea of building a passage has been abandoned due to lack of space. The works will include the expansion of a traffic lane on Colentina Road and the separation of traffic flows to facilitate access to the A3 highway. The total value of the project is estimated at 71 million lei, of which 46 million lei are allocated for the works, most of which are for the utility network. The authorities are set to establish the start date of the works, which will include 6 months of design and 12 months of execution.
