Răzvan Cuc, former Minister of Transport, has been placed in preventive detention for 30 days by the Bucharest Tribunal, according to judicial sources. The same measure has been applied to businessman Cătălin Daniel Bușe.


DNA prosecutors conducted searches in a case concerning bribery and complicity in bribery related to a framework contract worth 23 million lei, in which the bribe was allegedly 6% of the amount. Răzvan Cuc is accused of complicity in bribery, while Bușe is accused of bribery, both being suspected of attempting to bribe the head of RAR. Răzvan Cuc served as Minister of Transport from January to October 2017 and from February to November 2019, having a political career in PSD.
