On Friday afternoon, rail traffic on the Bucharest – Craiova Main Line was suspended near the Drăgănești Olt railway station, after the first carriage of a train with 32 carriages of grain derailed. The incident did not cause any casualties, and passengers are being transferred by vehicles between Radomirești and Caracal. Authorities estimate that rail traffic will safely resume after 6:00 PM.
