The police are conducting searches on six suspects of drug trafficking in Timișoara. Two minors, used for distribution, have been identified.

The police in Timișoara carried out major raids at the homes of six individuals suspected of drug trafficking, especially in the area of the North Station, starting from the year 2024. They are suspected of having procured, possessed, and sold psychoactive products and high-risk drugs. During the investigation, it was discovered that an adult had used two girls aged 15 and 13 for the distribution of prohibited substances, in order to minimize the risk of being caught.

The police executed 19 search warrants, and in the first criminal case, approximately 60 doses of psychoactive products were confiscated, sold at prices between 150 and 500 lei. In the second case, the investigations also target theft, possession, and incitement to possession, with indications that some consumers may have purchased drugs in exchange for stolen goods. Hearings will take place at the DIICOT Timișoara headquarters, and the police have identified 154 drug trafficking operations during the investigations.
