The police from the Arms Service conducted 23 searches on Wednesday in the counties of Timiș, Caraș-Severin, and Gorj, targeting individuals suspected of illegal possession of weapons. Among the locations searched are the properties of the Cârpaci family in Timișoara, known for a violent scandal in 2025. An offensive grenade of Yugoslav origin was found during the operation, and it will be examined. The searches come following a criminal case opened for violence and destruction, related to a previous incident.
