The police and prosecutors conducted searches in Bucharest and in localities in Buzau County, targeting administrators of commercial companies suspected of fraud and tax evasion.

They would have misled a company from Tulcea, using promissory notes and false invoices, causing a damage of approximately 900,000 lei. During the investigation, it was discovered that one of the suspects delivered agri-food products without registering them in accounting, thus evading tax obligations. Additionally, 41 fake invoices were identified, causing a damage to the state budget of over 100,000 lei. Following the searches, relevant documents and approximately 71,000 lei were seized. Four individuals were detained for 24 hours and are to be presented to the Prosecutor's Office for preventive measures.
