The head of DSU, Raed Arafat, has called on citizens not to believe the false information on social media that contests the measures of the authorities in the context of the red rain code.

Arafat reported that 47 localities from 16 counties are affected and that firefighters are actively intervening, including in Constanța, where rescues of trapped individuals have taken place. He also emphasized the dangers in Bucharest, where many trees have fallen, and reminded the importance of adhering to weather warnings.
