During the inauguration of the new emergency unit in Alba Iulia, Raed Arafat clarified that a "medical fast food" has not been created, emphasizing that waiting time is an integral part of the health system. Arafat explained that cases are prioritized according to severity, not order of arrival. He also noted that although progress has been made in saving lives, waiting time cannot be completely eliminated, but it can be improved through effective collaboration between wards and proper equipping of the unit. Critical cases are treated immediately without being left waiting.
