The interim Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță, signed the promotion orders for ten soldiers who contributed to missions in Romania and Lithuania.

The interim Minister of National Defense, Radu Miruță, signed on Wednesday the promotion orders for three officers and seven non-commissioned officers, acknowledging their contribution to the success of missions carried out in Lithuania and Romania. Miruță also analyzed the security situation at the border with Ukraine, emphasizing that the Romanian Army is in constant alert, reevaluating procedures and adapting response measures.

During the ceremony, Miruță highlighted the importance of the team behind each mission, mentioning that success does not belong to a single person, but to the entire collective of specialists. He also reaffirmed the commitment to ensure the necessary resources for the Army to fulfill its population protection missions. Radu Miruță emphasized that the safety of Romania relies on the continuous work of military professionals.
