A 39-year-old woman, a radiologist, was found dead in Bucharest. The police are investigating the circumstances, considering suicide.

On Sunday, the police from the General Directorate of Police of Bucharest were alerted via a 112 call by a man who discovered that his ex-wife was not showing vital signs. At the scene, in Sector 1, they found a 39-year-old woman, identified as the radiologist Viviana Niță.

The man became worried because she was not answering the phone, and their relationship was close. Despite the efforts of the medical teams, death was declared. The lifeless body was transported to the National Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy. The Prosecutor's Office next to the Bucharest Tribunal, together with the police from the Homicide Service, continues the investigations to establish the circumstances of the death, considering that suicide is being taken into account, sources indicating that the doctor may have suffered from depression.
