ANAF, Treasury and DGAMC employees protested against the cut of the bonus for harmful conditions and the budgetary adjustment measures proposed by the Government.

The spontaneous protests were triggered by the government's intention to reduce the bonus for harmful conditions from 1,500 lei gross to 300 lei gross, in the context of a budget adjustment that would significantly affect public sector employees. People are unhappy with the lack of dialog with the authorities and the harsh measures to come, especially after the pay freeze and the impact of inflation. The protests also extended to customs employees.
