The Sector 6 City Hall announced that public lighting will not be turned off, but will be reduced to approximately 50% capacity in most parks and playgrounds. This measure, considered responsible, aims to reduce electricity consumption without compromising the safety and comfort of citizens. Officials emphasized that parks and playgrounds will remain operational.

The list of affected areas includes Tudor Vladimirescu Park, the neighborhood garden on Timișoara Boulevard, Marin Preda Park, and many others, totaling a significant number of recreational places. This initiative reflects the City Hall's efforts to manage energy resources more efficiently in the current context of the energy crisis.
