How a PSD deputy explains that he allowed himself a luxury car only from his parliamentary allowance (Snoop)

Marian Mina, the president of PSD Giurgiu and deputy, claims he has purchased an Audi SQ8 worth 120,000 euros with the help of a loan of 200,000 lei and through a car lease of 600,000 lei, and that he pays the installments from his parliamentary allowance, even though these extend beyond the moment his mandate expires, according to Snoop.

When asked what the monthly installment for the Audi SQ8 is, in the context where the parliamentary allowance is just over 11,000 lei, Mina refused to provide an answer. However, according to Snoop's calculations, practically, Mina's allowance from Parliament until the end of his mandate is used solely for paying the installments, which would amount to approximately 10,000 lei.

"Neither is it good this way, nor if we have them in asset declarations, nor if we take them on lease, nor if we take a loan from the bank, is it good for you? Do you want us to come with scooters?" said Marian Mina, the president of PSD Giurgiu.

His mandate expires in December 2028, but the debts for the car extend until 2030.

Mina, who is 49 years old and is in his second term, was the president of the Giurgiu County Council from 2016-2026 and is a member of the SRI Commission in Parliament.
