On June 27, pupils and students gathered in front of the Ministry of Education to protest against the cut in the scholarship fund, chanting slogans such as "We want justice, not shame!" and "No scholarships tomorrow!". The protest was sparked by the minister's announcement to downsize the scholarships in the fall and cut their budget. Representatives of the National Students' Council and the Romanian Youth Council joined the action, emphasizing the importance of maintaining scholarships for students and pupils.
