The National Union of Public Finances (SindFISC) will organize a protest on Wednesday, between 16:30 and 17:30, at the headquarters of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) and the General Directorate for Fiscal Anti-Fraud (DGAF) in Piața Presei Libere.

The action, taking place outside of working hours, marks the completion of the first stage of the protest program, which included 11 pickets in the last two months. Representatives of SindFISC warn that, in the absence of solutions to the demands made, they will initiate a collective labor conflict at the institutional level. The union believes that the draft of the new salary law is disadvantageous for employees in the financial-fiscal system and demands a distinct salary grid for the fiscal administration, recognition of specific risks, and improvement of working conditions.

ANAF, which manages over 80% of the budget revenues, is essential for the functioning of the state, and anti-fraud inspectors play a crucial role in combating tax evasion. SindFISC benefits from the support of the European Federation of Public Service Personnel (EUROFEDOP) in its efforts.
