The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informs that a protest will take place on Tuesday, between 00:00 and 23:59, affecting the activity of flight personnel and handling services at Italian airports.

The authorities warn that this protest may lead to delays or cancellations of flights throughout Italy. MAE recommends that passengers constantly check the status of flights directly with the airlines and follow the information published by airports and transport operators. Romanian citizens who need consular assistance can contact the diplomatic missions and consular offices in Italy.

In case of emergency, MAE provides dedicated phone lines for the consulates in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Turin, Trieste, Bari, and Catania. Additionally, Romanians traveling abroad are encouraged to use the 'Travel Informed' app for updated information regarding travel conditions.
