In an interview granted to RFI Romania, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan addressed the plagiarism accusations against the Minister of Justice, stating that, although plagiarism is a form of intellectual theft, he will wait for the decision of the ethics committee of the University of Craiova before taking measures. Bolojan emphasized that, in the event that the committee confirms the plagiarism, there will be a serious discussion regarding the dismissal of the minister. Additionally, in the same interview, he mentioned that this year is crucial for the absorption of European funds, aiming to attract the 10 million euros from the PNRR for infrastructure development. The Prime Minister highlighted that political scandals affect the stability of the government and, implicitly, the country's economy, and stressed the need for a serious analysis of the performance of each party in the coalition to regain the trust of the citizens.
