In a recent meeting, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan requested PNL parliamentarians to reject PSD projects aimed at modifying government decisions, including the exemption from CASS payment for certain categories. Bolojan emphasized that such changes would affect the budgetary situation and mentioned the importance of the Ecofin meeting. Although some liberal senators believe that PSD proposals are populist, they fear the electoral impact of a position against them. PSD projects received support from AUR and UDMR in committee, while liberals abstain from the final vote in plenary.
