Former Prime Minister Victor Ponta announced that he has gathered the necessary documents that he will present to the prosecutors, stating that he will probably go to the Prosecutor's Office next week. Ponta claims that the authorities lied regarding the return home of his daughter, emphasizing that Romanian legislation imposes clear obligations on authorities in the case of unaccompanied minors in conflict zones.

He explained that any Romanian minor in difficulty abroad must be automatically supported by consulates. Additionally, Ponta launched harsh criticisms against USR, calling them "scoundrels" for fighting against children, and stated that this situation reflects a broader social problem in Romania.
