The Suceava County Police is calling on parents to be responsible when it comes to the use of electric scooters by minors, in view of the increase in accidents. Electric scooters can be used on public roads by people over the age of 14 and those between 14 and 16 must wear a helmet. Users must obey strict rules, including riding in bike lanes and not carrying passengers. A recent accident involved a 12-year-old who suffered injuries in a fall on a scooter.
