Dan Motreanu proposed in PNL a resolution establishing the separation from PSD, emphasizing that Romanians will lose out due to the political crisis.

During the meeting of the extended Political Bureau of PNL, Dan Motreanu proposed a resolution to officially declare the separation of the paths of PNL and PSD. Motreanu emphasized that political crises do not arise out of nowhere and mentioned that PSD is responsible for the current situation.

He highlighted that, this time, the crisis is not about who will win, but about who will lose, warning that Romanians will suffer due to political instability. Motreanu called for a change in the way politics is done, emphasizing that AUR could benefit from this crisis.

The Political Bureau met after PSD voted to withdraw political support for Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, and social-democratic leaders threatened to resign their ministers from the Government if he does not resign.
