Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said that although it was agreed in the coalition to call the elections for the Chisinau mayoralty in November, the details are not finalized due to the lack of meetings. The PNL has conducted a poll putting Ciprian Ciucu, mayor of Sector 6, at the top of the list of favorites as a serious candidate. Bolojan emphasized the importance of an agreement between the coalition parties to support a common candidate, given the nature of the elections in Bucharest.
