Muraru described Simion's actions as 'irresponsible' and emphasized that they undermine Romania's image. He criticized Simion's visit, stating that he did not act as a dialogue partner, but as a 'sabotager' of national interests.

Muraru mentioned that Simion presented a 'Report on the coup d'état in Romania 2024-2025', considering it evidence of conspiratorial delirium. He also criticized the moment when Simion cut a cake in the shape of Greenland, deeming it a diplomatic blunder. The liberal deputy accused AUR of undermining investors' trust in Romanian democracy and emphasized that the extremism represented by Simion is rejected by the international community. AUR announced that Simion received an award for his work in defending freedom of expression in Europe.
