The Parliament adopted a law ratifying ILO Convention No.190 on the elimination of violence and harassment at work.

The law has been initiated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity and redefines the concepts of 'violence and harassment' to cover physical, verbal abuse, sexual harassment, etc. Ratification of the ILO Convention brings clarity in national legislation and protects both employees and other categories of people in employment relationships.
