In the period from January 1 to August 31, the General Inspectorate for Immigration issued 71,921 work permits for foreigners wishing to work in Romania, utilizing 71.9% of the approved quota for this year. The majority of the permits, namely 71,290, were intended for permanent workers, indicating a significant demand for foreign labor in various economic sectors.
