In the last 24 hours, the mountain rescuers from Romania have carried out interventions to save 72 people, with most calls coming from the Maramureș area.

According to information from Salvamont, there were 68 emergency calls registered, of which 24 people were transported to the hospital by SAJ, SMURD, or Salvamont ambulances. The other rescued individuals were transported by their relatives. Additionally, the dispatch received 51 calls for advice and information regarding the tourist trails in the mountainous area, highlighting the increased interest in outdoor activities.
