On Wednesday, over 3,000 customers, both residential and non-residential, from Sector 1 of Bucharest, were affected by a natural gas supply interruption caused by an incident in the distribution network on Câineni Street. Distrigaz Sud Rețele announced that the supply was temporarily halted starting at 10:37 AM to ensure consumer safety. In total, 3,021 customers from various streets in the area are affected. The company's teams are already on-site to resolve the issue, and the resumption of supply is estimated for the evening of the same day, around 7:00 PM. After the service is resumed, customers are advised to be alert for any gas odors and to follow safety instructions, including ventilating rooms and avoiding sparks.
