The first edition of the event 'Night of the Churches', held in Cluj-Napoca, brought together over 20,000 locals and tourists who visited 18 places of worship. The event, considered the largest interfaith project in Romania, was an opportunity to discover the spiritual and cultural heritage of the city. Six religious denominations participated, and the Roman Catholic Church 'Saint Michael' recorded the highest number of visitors. The program included recitals, exhibitions, and unique activities, such as a live DJ set. The prefect of Cluj County, Maria Forna, emphasized the importance of the event in promoting the community's heritage. The organizers are already preparing for the 2027 edition, which will include more activities and places of worship, maintaining the six-hour format.
