INHGA has issued an Orange Flood Code in Prahova until Sunday, and another 12 counties are under a Yellow Code, with risks of floods.

The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) issued an Orange Flood Alert on Friday, valid until Sunday afternoon, for Prahova County, due to rising water levels and the risk of flash floods. The warning specifically applies to rivers in the Teleajen and Cricovul Sărat watersheds.

Additionally, a Yellow Alert is active from November 28 to November 30 for river sectors in 12 other counties, including Gorj, Brașov, Covasna, Sibiu, Vâlcea, Argeș, Olt, Dâmbovița, Ilfov, Ialomița, and Buzău. Authorities recommend that the population be attentive to weather developments, avoid traveling in affected areas, and protect homes located near watercourses.
