Meteorologists have issued new yellow and orange code warnings and announce that the heat wave persists, with temperatures frequently ranging between 31-34 degrees and potentially reaching 47 degrees in northern Crișana and northwestern Transylvania. Additionally, thunderstorms may occur in most parts of the country.
On Wednesday, until 21:00, there is an orange heat wave warning in Banat, Crișana, Maramureș, Transylvania, and Moldova. In these areas, there will be a heat wave and significant thermal discomfort. Until Wednesday evening, a yellow warning will be in effect in Dobrogea and the eastern half of Muntenia.
From Wednesday at 15:00 until Thursday at 6:00, there will be an orange storm warning in Banat, Crișana, western Transylvania, Oltenia, Muntenia, the Western Carpathians, and most of the Southern Carpathians.
Additionally, a yellow warning will be in effect on Thursday between 10:00 and 21:00 in Maramureș, Transylvania, northern and central Moldova. The heat wave will persist, and extremely high temperatures will be recorded for this time of year.
Between July 2, 10:00 - July 3, 10:00, there will be a yellow storm warning across the entire country.
