The ONJN has launched a contact line on WhatsApp to receive complaints about illegal gambling in Romania. Citizens can send detailed information, including photos and addresses, to 0761 890 899. The initiative comes in response to the increase in uncontrolled activities in the sector, with over 70% of EU gambling revenues estimated to be generated by the black market. The NEJB has already carried out 2,181 checks, imposing penalties and seizing illegal gambling instruments.
