The Prime Minister of Romania, Bolojan, and his Slovak counterpart, Robert Fico, will meet for official discussions, according to the schedule announced by the Government. The two leaders will have a tête-à-tête meeting, followed by a plenary session of the delegations, during an official working lunch.
An important moment of the visit will be the signing of a memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation between the Ministries of Culture of Romania and Slovakia, valid for five years. In the afternoon, the prime ministers will travel to Oradea to meet with representatives of the Slovak community in Romania. Additionally, Fico will be received by President Nicușor Dan at the Cotroceni Palace.
It is worth mentioning that Robert Fico maintains close relations with Russia and has adopted a critical stance towards the EU and NATO, which has generated protests in Slovakia.
