Oana Ţoiu, the head of the Romanian diplomacy, had a phone conversation on Monday with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, focused on Iran's attacks in the region and the situation of Romanians stranded in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Ţoiu expressed solidarity with the UAE and other countries affected by the Iranian attacks, discussing air defense measures and the safety of citizens.


She thanked for the assistance provided and emphasized the importance of continuing direct contact to support diplomatic dialogue. During the conversation, the conclusions of the Foreign Affairs Council and the Gulf Cooperation Council were shared, highlighting the need for international cooperation in the face of crises.
