Oana-Silvia Țoiu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, will make a working visit to Chișinău on December 22, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi. The visit coincides with the Meeting of Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Consular Offices of the Republic of Moldova. The agenda includes meetings with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, and after discussions, the two ministers will hold joint press statements.
This is Oana-Silvia Țoiu's second visit to the Republic of Moldova since taking office, the first having taken place on July 22, where topics such as economic development, energy security, and sectoral cooperation were discussed. During the previous visit, Romania reaffirmed its support for the Republic of Moldova's accession to the European Union.
