In the meeting on Friday, the Government of Romania adopted a Decision declaring the city of Novaci and the tourist area of Rânca as a national interest tourist resort.

The Minister of Economy, Radu Miruță, emphasized the beauty and potential of this area, stating that Rânca should be cherished by all Romanians.

Through this certification, Novaci and Rânca will have priority access to government and European funding, support for infrastructure projects, increased attractiveness for investors, promotion at national and international levels, as well as enhanced opportunities for local development.

Originally from Novaci, Minister Miruță expressed his emotion in signing the document that certifies this achievement, considering it good news for Romanian tourism and for the local community.
