The amendment proposed by PNL MEP Adrian Cozma aims to ban under-21s from gambling halls, arguing that this would protect young people at a critical stage in their development. Cozma points out that young people aged between 18 and 21 are often in a transitional phase towards financial independence and are exposed to significant pressure from the gambling industry.
