Nicușor Dan emphasized that Romanian judges have worked two to three times harder than those in other European countries and proposed that those approaching retirement should not have this stage postponed. He believes it is reasonable for judges to continue working proportionally with the time remaining until retirement, but not more than double. Dan mentioned that the measures taken in the economic recovery package were based on prior consultations with the decisions of the Constitutional Court.
