CTP criticizes Nicușor Dan's position on the Trump-EU conflict

Journalist Cristian Tudor Popescu harshly criticized, in a post published on Tuesday, the ambiguous position of President Nicușor Dan in the context of tensions between the European Union and the Trump administration, stating that the lack of a firm reaction from Romania is "ridiculous and humiliating."

CTP argues that calls for dialogue and avoiding a clear decision regarding the American initiative concerning the so-called "Council for Peace" convey weakness on the international stage and place Romania outside the geopolitical game, at a time when other European states and Western allies have adopted decisive positions against Washington's policies.
