At the end of the Eastern Flank Summit in Poland, President Nicușor Dan stated that he presented the progress regarding the security hub in the Black Sea, highlighting the importance of the Eastern Flank Watch program. He emphasized the unity of the countries on the Eastern Flank in the face of the threat posed by Russia, reaffirming solidarity with Ukraine in the context of the current war.

Dan mentioned that the participating states agreed on the necessity of a complementary relationship between the European Union and NATO in the field of defense, as well as on increasing spending for military equipment. The president insisted on including Ukraine's experience in military equipment programs to ensure a balance between competitiveness and the strategic needs of the Eastern Flank.
