Nicușor Dan said that his thoughts are with the families affected by severe flooding in several counties and urged the authorities to quickly mobilize the necessary resources to save lives and protect property. He stressed the importance of investing in early warning systems and resilient infrastructure, as well as preparing local authorities to respond effectively to emergencies. The Environment Minister noted that although the weather is improving, the hydrological situation remains critical, with Code Red warnings for several counties.
