President Nicușor Dan announced the organization of a meeting with the responsible institutions to assess the existing capabilities and any deficiencies following the incident on Friday when a Ukrainian naval drone self-detonated in the Port of Constanța.

The head of state specified that, in the case of aerial drones, the information was available in real-time and that a request for equipment to NATO was sent as early as February.

After the meeting with the authorities, the president will publicly communicate the identified needs.
