Nicușor Dan about the possible appointment of Kovesi as head of SRI

He mentioned that the last meeting with Kovesi took place 10-12 years ago, in a courtroom.

Regarding the appointment of the future director of the Romanian Intelligence Service, Nicușor Dan avoided providing details, stating that discussions with coalition leaders are ongoing, but he is waiting for the completion of agreements with Parliament. He confirmed that he has a short list of candidates and that discussions are underway, without wanting to overlap with the current political context.
