The plant will initially operate on natural gas, but it will be adapted to use green hydrogen, supporting the transition to clean energy. The project, valued at hundreds of millions of lei, will provide heating and hot water at sustainable costs for the residents of Constanța. Pîslaru emphasized the importance of collaboration with local authorities and appreciated the support of Mayor Vergil Chițac. The completion of the project is estimated for 2026, and the work on the thermal networks is nearly fully completed.
