Minister Diana Buzoianu discussed the new rules for importing second-hand cars, proposing a limit of two vehicles per year for individuals. This measure aims to combat illegal activities carried out by dealers, who bring a large number of cars for commercial purposes. Buzoianu emphasized that discussions with car dealers will influence the final form of the regulatory act, which is still under public debate. Additionally, a balance will be sought between regulation and maintaining a legitimate second-hand car market, avoiding excessive bureaucracy. The minister assured that measures will be taken against unregulated trade, mentioning that the authorities are prepared to counter the creative methods of criminals.
