Nicolae Ceausescu's former protocol residence, the Neuman House, is up for sale for €2.4 million. The building, built between 1925-1926 by the Neuman family, has 30 rooms and a surface area of 3,275 square meters. It was a symbol of Arad's industrial development but became a protocol villa after nationalization. The current owners have invested in improvements and the building is ideal for conversion into a hotel. The house retains an impressive architecture, with neoclassical details and exquisitely decorated interiors.
