On Sunday evening, two recreational vessels collided on the Danube, in the area of Canal Mila 36, according to the Tulcea Police.

The collision involved two recreational vessels: one had on board a 29-year-old man from Tulcea County, while the other was carrying two men aged 48 and 71, also from Tulcea County. As a result of the impact, the young man's vessel went off the navigable channel and crashed into the shore, causing him injuries. He was transported to the hospital for medical care. The police have opened a criminal case for bodily harm due to negligence and are continuing investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident.
