A company based in Bucharest and with work points in Gorj County has been fined 133,000 lei by the Territorial Labor Inspectorate (ITM) Gorj for delaying salary payments by more than a month past the deadline stipulated in the individual labor contracts.

The sanction was applied following a series of inspections conducted between October 13 and 17, during which labor inspectors carried out 31 checks and imposed a total of 36 contraventional sanctions, amounting to a cumulative value of 338,000 lei. At the same time, as part of a national campaign aimed at combating undeclared work, another employer from Sibiu County was fined 20,000 lei for employing a person without an individual labor contract.
