Miron Cozma has been indicted in the 1990 Mineriade case, along with other high officials. Prosecutors have to reopen the investigation after evidence gathered was annulled in court. The case concerns the events of June 13-15, 1990, when state forces violently repressed demonstrators in Bucharest's University Square.
